ABOUT MARIE. M. MORGAN
I'm currently 24, but I've been writing since I was a child. I have countless old notebooks filled with stories, characters, maps and plotlines, and of course I don't have the heart to throw any of them away. I'll get back to them.
I love dinosaurs, Cornwall, coffee with friends and cake. I'm a sucker for romance and can't wait to finally have a home with my partner with two dogs. A rottweiler and a staffie hopefully! Anime is my life, and I listen to anything from Kpop, heavy metal, or music from the 1940s. I am weak to rum too. I enjoy PC gaming, mostly playing Skyrim, where I aimlessly travel and collect shiny things.
Something interesting about me is that I've done archery for four years, I did online burlesque classes during the pandemic, and I grow cacti from seed.
I identify as bisexual and came to a startling discovery about the lack of FF romance a few years ago. I wanted the representation, so why not do it myself with relatable plus size characters? As a result, I started my first book three years ago and finished it in September. It's currently going through the beta reading process, and I hope to publish it next year!

The Making of May follows May moving to Cornwall during a nasty divorce with her abusive ex. She moves to begin again and heal, but she hadn't predicted that living close to her animated sister would bring her face to face with an old-time nemesis, Jane. May is convinced Jane intends to mock her at every opportunity she can get, but Jane proves to be a surprising ally throughout May's struggles, throwing May into a spiral of confusion about her own sexuality, wants and insecurities.
The Making of May is a tale of healing, self-discovery, positive female relationships and love, with a relatable plus size character who is awkward and shy.
